Who is the Operations and Departmental Manager Apprenticeship suitable for?

The Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship is suitable for someone who manages teams or projects and is responsible for achieving operational or departmental goals and objectives as part of their organisation’s strategy.

While working on your apprenticeship you will be receiving “hands on” training within your chosen industry. You will be hired by a business and be taught how to improve your administration skills while in employment.

What levels of apprenticeship are available?

  • Level 5 (equivalent to Foundation degree)

How long will it take to complete this apprenticeship?

  • It will take approximately 18 months to complete this course

Ideal candidates for this qualification will:

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Be confident in ICT.
  • Have good people skills.
  • The entry requirements for this apprenticeship will be at the discretion of the employer but may as a rule be five GCSE’s grade C or higher.  Apprentices without a Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English or equivalent will need to achieve this level prior to taking End Point Assessment.
