Lee Taylor a Management Advanced Apprenticeship learner and the manager from Pop In Bargains in Sleaford has won a prestigious Sleafordian of the year award 2020 for his tireless work within the town and in direct recognition for his months of work securing a Post Office for the town.

The judging panel was made up of the Mayor Councillor Anthony Brand, the Deputy Mayor Councillor Robert Oates, Nicola Marshall and Stephanie Goodland from the Town Council office and Andy Hubbert of the Sleaford Standard.

The Sleafordian of the Year award is sponsored by Sleaford Town Council and the award was presented by the Mayor of Sleaford to Lee Taylor pictured above.

Lee is really proud of his achievement and he commented that the support he has been receiving throughout his apprenticeship has really helped him to achieve his goals of getting a Post Office back into Sleaford Town Centre while still developing both personally and professionally within his role.

Lee is excited about the next challenge and is looking forward to the New Year after the challenges of 2020 opening up a Post Office during lockdown.

Lee’s assessor Paul commented, “I am really proud of Lee and this award which he so richly deserves, he is an exceptional learner and he is well on track to complete his Management Advanced Apprenticeship.
